#there is just something heart-wrenchingly beautiful about the contrast of emotions here#regina is HAPPY #cause she lives in the PRESENT#it has finally dawned on her that snow was right #there IS good in her #emma was right #she CAN change #and she can finally be the person her son - the most important person in her life - has always wanted her to be #she doesn’t think about death #she doesn’t think about how her life is going to END #in this very moment she only thinks that she’ll finally be able to redeem herself #death is going to be her catharsis #it’s gonna unburden her off the guilt that’s been weighing on her shoulders #for causing so much pain and misery #while emma on the other hand is SAD #cause she thinks about the FUTURE #the consequences of what regina is about to do #of not having her in her life #and in her son’s life either #cause no matter how much she loathes the woman standing in front of her #she also cares about her #and she wants henry to be happy #and have a childhood she didn’t have #cause it’s still not too late #he’s only 12 #and oh gawd it makes my heart clench #someone take away these feels (via lovemelana)
